When getting up to certain speeds (especially in a Traxxas Slash), there's a lot more to consider then just sticking a monster ESC/motor combo in it.

Getting tons of speed from a Slash isn't a problem. Keeping a Slash on it's wheels at high speed is!

It's biggest problem is the very high center of gravity. You'd want to lower this which means a new flat chassis.

Without proper consideration of details, you'll probably end up with the world's fastest flip-over Slash. The ones I've seen that have that much power just flip-over as soon as they goose the throttle.

You're aiming for top speed or quickest acceleration or what? Gearing will make all the difference depending on what you're after. If you make it the quickest-accelerating Slash, what are you going to do to stop it from just wheelie-ing right onto it's roof every time you gun it? If you want it to have the highest top speed, how are you going to gear it to accomplish that without overheating the motor?

Could we get some better pic's. so we can see what you are working with?
There are a number of issue's to deal with when trying to get a decent top speed out of a Slash and have it be controllable.
