I've got this one from Snap-on, kinda pricey but it's the last one you'll ever buy! http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....e=&dir=catalog

agreed on the DB3DL2. the speed, 21 clutch settings, and the amount voltage per battery is spot for the hobby. it's perfect. comes with 2 batteries warrantied for 2 years and all the features you'll ever need. 6X.XX something dollars with free shipping at a number of stores.

the makita is nice with double the voltage capacity and speed. but how fast do really need to screw up and cross thread something? the only reason why anyone would get one is because either they're sponsored by them and they got one for a helluva deal, or they're copying their favorite racer. they're expensive as hell to boot.

Black & Decker Pivot Driver in my workshop. NiCd rechargeable. Had it for years. Seldom use it for r/c. When I do it's only use is for taking fasteners out; never putting them in.

yep got it. sits right next to my matching stylus rotary tool. agreed fabulous screwdriver, but it torques like a 12v. with no clutch and mad torque, despite the variable trigger, there plenty of room for error. find it safer with the hitachi

x2 on that. best money spent on a battery tool. Mines been going strong for 1.5 years now. Lasts a long time. The driver for wrenching and the impact for wheel nuts. and yeah the triggers as sensitive as an airtronics mt4 throttle .

ps20 does it better then the ps21 for the r/c's despite being bigger. its slower (which is good) and the ps21 chuck is the pits for power bits.

I love mine too. locking chuck make sure the bits dont slide out like the Bosch we have. the rocker trigger is very handy. Only thing I dont like is the non-removeable battery. I've had to replace mine and it was a pain, but do-able.But I've had it for about 3-4 years now, Still strong.
