Jim - The Kyosho bodies will fit but the steering bellcranks will hit the body and need to be trimmed out wider.

Not surprised to hear that! Losi shocks do kick some serious ass! Using a cartridge in their shock design is a stroke of genius!

Driver1 - Yeah, it's been a long wait for the Undertray... but looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Apparently, the new mold that is supposed to be in very soon should allow JConcepts to finally mass produce this long awaited option part. One good thing though is because Jason and the gang wanted the Undertray to fit PERFECTLY so they took the time and went through a number of attempts to get it just right! This long wait for us customers is way better than if it was released on a rush job and made of sub-par quality.

Driver1 - Are you using this e-mail address for your questions to Jason or Brad over at JConcepts:

[email protected]

If not, go ahead and do so. Jason had a race this weekend so it could be that he hasn't checked mail in a day or two. I know a few weeks back an announcement was made regarding a late shipment of lexan which they obviously use to make the bodies of their different products. It could have backed things up with regards to availability. In any case, send Jason an e-mail with your questions or orders. He will most definitely take care of you!

Things have been just a little hectic at J concepts the past month or so, between material delays, on road worlds and this past weekends RC Pro Finals. Shipments have been going out though since our material arrived a short time ago. Please contact us at [email protected].

As far as time to complete a new product, any company, large or small would take a fairly decent amount of time for completion. From a concept, to a drawing, then tooling, testing, retooling, retesting, finalizing, packaging, distribution....it takes some time to try and do things right. The finished product will be worth the wait..........Thanks, Jim(Winning Edge Designs, J concepts)

W.E.D.Jim, do you have an approximate date for the release of an underbody for the BJ4? Thanks.

Rich, we will be working hard at it this week, but i'd hate to give a date since we neeed to still test fit it after completion, etc. If it's right, like we need it, it won't be too much longer.......Jim

I'm in the process of building my BJ4, just a couple of things to keep an eye out for:

1. Be careful with the orientaion of the rear "front" pivot block. It can go in upside down and will not only mess up the geometry, but make the suspension bind like crazy!!!

2. The screws that slide through the bushing to the ackerman plate need to be fairly loose. If it's too tight, it binds the bellcrank movement.

Other than that, I can't tell you guys how impressive the engineering is on this car. Looks AWSOME!!!
