Default Savage Flux Controller Change

Hello fellow Rc'ers.

I own a HPI Savage Flux that I bought some years ago, this model has the old type of controller/reciever with a crystal.

My controller/reciever has always been "nervous", like the car has been shaking, sudden accelleration when the car is more than 20 meters away, and im shaking the controller.

So I decided to change the TX/RX to 2.4Ghz since its more stable.

After a quick look around the internets and without to much research i bought this controller "Futaba Megatech 2PL 2.4Ghz FHSS" since it was kind of cheap and had the reciever bundled. Supposed to give a link here, but im not allowed to do that yet.

Of course there was a problem when i hooked the new system.
Only the steering works, the throttle doesnt work, it seems the ESC needs some more power or something.
The only visual indication i have is a blinking light on the ESC.

Does anyone know if there is a quick fix for this or do i have to change the reciever or ESC?

Any response is welcome.

Try reversing the throttle on the radio and recalibrate. The ESCs used in the Flux were developed by Castle Creations and their ESCs require that the throttle channel be reversed on Futaba radios.
