Thoughts on what battery configuration you'll run?

Momo
i will be running a shorty stick pack, not sure if it will be sideways or longways yet, may try both, we will see.

I did the shocks tonite, see below, the springs from the losi should work, but the lower cups will need to be changed or use the Avid lower cup adapters cause the stock springs are progressive rate and taper down at the bottom. The shock themselves have some very nice shock bodies, titanium coated shafts, 4 different piston choices, although i would prefer to see machined pistons in the kit. Will check to see if other pistons will work. The shock caps can use bleeder screw if you choose, but have to be drilled on the inside, I did it to mine and bleeding the shocks is a dream, very nice. The front springs seem to be a bit short as well.

motor fit in mid motor configuration is snug, but pretty much perfect. There are options for electronics placement as well, even an included ESC mount just ahead of rear tower when in rear motor configuration

also still working on 12mm hex conversion parts, i think I have the front figured out, a little work for the rear since the stub axles are a bit bigger diameter. I have some sc10 4x4 hexes that actually fit perfect, but then the holes in the wheels are too small, could open these up, but dont want them to then possibly wobble on my others, but may try with older rim and see. Otherwise I will need to find a different stub axle or CVD setup that will work.

Buggy looks really good, can't wait to get it. I'm just wondering is it made by 3Racing? 3Racing released a cad drawing of their soon to be released Sakura 2wd buggy and it looks exactly the same. Check out the link and pic below...

front shock tower different, kick up plate different. just the first two things I had a look at. I cant see more similarities beside that it is a 2WD buggy

but no idea who makes the car. There are not many companies that produce cars, so this might be true but the cars doenst look the same. Maybe same manufactor but different car. So like any other car out :P

12mm hex conversion done, Team C TC02 parts were used, here is parts list:

Front:

T02042 Front Axle Set
T02012 Steering Arms

Rear:

EDIT- realized today that when i tightened down the rear wheels, the Team C CVD's pulled deeper into stock hubs and bound up. I also realized that only my Team C wheels had a small hole for the axle, and my JConcepts did not. So to correct the issue, you can use stock rear hubs and CVD's, but will need to use a 12mm hex adapter and that is it really. I used some for a SC10 4x4 and they work great now.

the stock kit sized bearings are used front and rear, 5x10x4mm. For the front you can use the stock upright, or Team C uprights as i did cause i had a setup already assembled and ready to go. You will need to move the V2MR ball studs to the Team C parts. It is easy and fits great.

Any ideas on expected pricing? I'm assuming it will be priced 'competitively'.
