Default SC10 FT or SC10 RS

Are there any diffrences between the SC10 FT and the SC10 RS besides the electronics. I know the RS has an updated diff but I was not sure about the FT. What are the general week points on these trucks?

The main difference between the two is:

RS comes with a gear diff (heavier-duty gears) - FT comes with ball diff
RS comes with wheel hex's front/rear
RS comes with water resistant esc as well as enclosed receiver box
And a few other changes

Biggest weakpoint is the front bumper, they will break very easy if you nosedive alot.........

You should have searched the Official SC10 thread (see that announcement at the top?). I covered it in this post: http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...ml#post9342605

Could I run the tires and rims off my Slash on the SC10 RS?

no, because the sc10's have a pin instead of a hex. but you could buy a jconcepts 12mm adapter and that would work but the wheels would stick out of the body a little

SC10 RS has hexes. But takes 0 offset wheels, so the answer is still no, but for a different reason.
