I am looking for someone who has this running using Windows 7 starter. I am planning on getting a NetBook specifically for the track, and it has Windows 7 starter.

Please only reply if you are actually running it with a NetBook using Windows 7 starter.

I have a Toshiba netbook dedicated for track use with windows 7 starter. The hotwire program can be downloaded from their site and their instruction video is comprehensive. Follow it and you'll have no issues. The netbook is small and fits well both in my pit box and on the bench at the track

I have used my 7 starter netbook successfully with the hotwire and 3 rs escs in the past. I had issues recently, but my rs needs service so it could be due to the esc not communicating properly.
