ilianstylz put it well.......both are excellent trucks and both durable in their own right. I have the SC10 4x4 and it is a very durable truck. I have ran it at the track as well as bashed it with my 7 year old's Slash 4x4 (to almost Slash 4x4 levels). "Almost" being the key word. I do have a Losi SCTE as well, but have not ran it enough to see how durable it is (just got it). But it's a great truck and you can't go wrong with either. Each has its own quirks and advantages....comes down to what you want.

Easiest thing to do is buy both trucks. I have the Losi and could not be happier and have not had a single issue out of the truck.
It handles like it is on Rails, Jumps very predictable and you would be surprised even though the truck is a little heavy it rips just as hard as the other 4x4 SCT's

Between the SCTE 4x4 and SC10 4x4 which truck would be better running a Novak Havoc Pro SC with a 4.5T Ballistic motor?

I had a SC 10, not very easy tomwork on it compare to SCTE, SC10 is lghter so good for motor but not good on the track....to light.
Durability is great for both.
Out of box, SCTE is the best, SC10, you have to workma lot on setup.
Motor mount is perfect for Losi.
I don t have problem of heat n my SCTE. I run on a huge large track outdoor in texas. Air temperature was over 100 and after a full pack ( around 15 minutes ) my motor CC 1410 3800 kv with turnigy fan was at 150 ( gearing 16x40) and ESC mamba moster at 120 and lipo at 115.... So no problem of heat.
SC10 is a truck for pilot, out of box it s horrible and you have to work a lot to find good setup.
SCTE is perfect for a normal driver out of box, nothing to do just enjoy a great truck.
