Hudy, red handled dynamite, Losi, or MIP. Just remember to clean screw heads. I have had an assortment of tools but I really like the Dynamite wrenches. After seven years I finally broke one but it was my fault as I was trying to rush a front arm change to make the main and twisted the wrench and bent it 45 degrees before it snapped.

A note to everyone: Axial wrenches are some of the worst ever. I have seen more than one break just from dropping it at a distance of 3 feet or less.

Default Hex Wrenches

So, which of the following would be best. I currently have a "cough" set of seven team integy wrenches that are almost worthless.Because of the smooth handles you cannot get a good grip.

Which would be better?

To get one each of the following dynamite kits?
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Metric-Set-Red
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ver-US-Set-Red

or, the team associated kit?
http://www.losipartshouse.com/servle...eam-Hex/Detail

From what I've found out the 5/64" and 2 mm are the same size so that would be a mute point mainly because my SC10 uses the 5/64 and my SCRT10 uses 2mm.

Just curious which will stand up better over time?

Default Preference

Anybody have a preference?

Associated Hex wrenches or the red handled dynamites?

Both aren't overly priced but am curious which give a better grip.

The Associated seem to be round but have a knurled grip. Whereas the Dynamite look to be knurled and have a triangular or squared off grip......

well it kinda depends on what you like... A smaller handle that forms to your hand more and is lighter weight (associated), or a handle with the diamond pattern and more bulky and probably heavier (dynamite).

I like lighter tools that fit in my hand more naturally, so if i were you id go with the associated... but its your choice.

And you dont need amazing grip... that should be the least of your worries. You want to snug your screws into place and not make them so tight that parts around them are warped.

IMO

I have a Dynamite tools set and it's awesome and does the job. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Associated tools are crap compared to even the dynamite tools.. why spend the extra cash when we've provided cheaper options and BETTER options?

i am very easy on my tools and i twisted and snapped the Associated tips w/in one tear down. and tamiya screws arent the hardest screws ever made
