Ni-MH cells do develop a memory, although not as severe as Ni-CD cells.

The best way to care for a Ni-MH pack is to store it completely dead and on a tray....but for most people's purposes, you should store them at 5.4 volts.

just out of morbid curiosity, if for most peoples purposes you want a charge of 5.4 volts, what purposes would you want them completely discharged for?

For the diehard mod-class racers who have a Trinity Absolute Zero discharge tray for each battery they own and want only the absolute best out of their packs.
