Default 1/8 buggy esc and motor question

Currently I have a mamba monster esc and a tekin 2050 motor.
DO you guys think by using the tekin rx8 esc would be a gain? Mainly due to the timing aspect. I dont really need more speed as of right now. but you never know

Not too much, but a little.
Timing/boost/ramp not so important in 8th.

the tekin rx8/motor are sensored correct? the MMM is not, so there will be more cogging effect.
