Default Servo recomendation for a buggy

How strong of a servo do I need for an aluminum tub RC10 buggy. Planning on racing it, never ran a buggy before. Thanks

Nick

100oz to 150oz in torque is more then enough, for speed .09 to .15 is perfect, thats just my opinion though ;-)

My 5# short course truck has 111 ounces. Its fine for that but seems like gross overkill in a 1/10 buggy isnt it?

For 2wd buggy I prefer a fast servo.. I personally use Orion VDS-1007s in all my 1/10 scale stuff (.07 / 138z@6V) They are the same servo as the less expensive Savox 1257.. Both are probably the best you're going to get for the money in this category.. They can be power hungry for some people.. I have never had this issue however.. Once you use a stupid fast steering servo you will never want to go back
