Default Stampede 4x4 + Integy dual motor fan

Guys, wondering if anyone had the same issue.

Bashing with a buddy this afternoon. I recently installed an Integy dual motor fan/heat sink. Running 3S lipo. Fully charged. After about 5 minutes, my pede stopped working. After I unplugged the fan - I continued to bash for another 5 minutes (basically until my rear drive shaft assembly broke).

Weather was warm. Not hot.

Fans are soldered to pig tail connector - plugged into ESC.

Anyone know why unplugging the fan allowed the Pede to continue?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Tried to run the 2 fans in series. Could not get them to spin. Tried powering with 2S and 3S.

Anyone knows how many volts is required to get those fans going?

6v... you likely fried them, they were meant to be plugged into the RX...

D'oh!

Would plugging both into the RX cause the same issue/result as plugging them into the ESC?
