Default Front wheel nuts

Hello,

First I must say I am very new to the Hobby and this is my first RC vehicle.

I have an issue I can't seem to figure out. Both front wheel nuts on my SCT are stripped I think? they just spin on the axle bolt with out tightening or loosening. Anyone else have this issue and how did they fix it? besides cutting or tearing the wheel nut off.

TIA

Chris

I'm assuming you have the black plastic nuts? If so they are inexpensive to replace, or for a few extra dollars you can buy 5-40 steel nyloc nuts that are much more durable. I strongly suggest the steel nyloc nuts.

I don't have the black plastic ones, they are metal. But I will look at the ones you suggested. Thx.

You may have stripped the threads off of the axle, though the axles are supposed to be harder than the nuts to prevent that. Either way its not an expensive or difficult fix- shouldn't be a problem for you at all.

grab them with pliers and pull while you loosen. They will come with off.
