engine ???
Hey there.
I just lost an engine this past weekend and havent a clue as to what to replace it with.
I have a 3x-nt and it was the stock motor that died.I have seen the os website, but would like to know what are some other companies out there?
I would like to go with the .12 size any recomendations from any company?
Thanks.

if you've got a good budget, i'd say go for the novarossi RS12S2, its really fast, possibly the fastest 1/10 stadium engine i've used, also the sirio drake engine is supposed to be really good, and suited for the xxxnt, can't go wrong with that. I don't have any personal experience with the the os .12 series, but from what i've heard, they're really reliable with a good tunable powerband. Whatever you pick, make sure its got a threaded crank. good luck

Unless your track is huge and super high traction the high horsepower engines are an overkill unless you have super throttle finger skillz . OS is a great choice , more than enough power , reliable and easy to tune . You also want to consider the STS lines of engines , i have seen a few run and there pretty good .

if i had to buy another engine today and money was no issue i think id sniff out the sirio drake edition.
if money was an issue id probably get another OS .12 CV-R. i can tell you to stay away from the CV engines (the ones before the CVR) because they are only a few bucks cheaper, are the same size and weight, and put out about 1/2 the power of the CVR, so you might as well double up on horsepower for 15 or 20 bucks more.
all engines are made because someone somewhere likes them, so it comes down to budget, and preference
