Check out speedzone. I have been running them for about a year and they are as good if not better than the more expensive packs on the market. Plus they are in N.Y. and ship USPS priority. So depending where you are you could have them in a couple of days.

Protek lipos, found only on amain hobbies are great and the prices are very competitive! I have ran both the 50C and 65C packs and they are great!

Hobbyking...Turnigy NanoTech
Hobbypartz...Gens Ace
I dont think you really "need" 50c packs. I honestly think 35-40c is plenty.

Not necessarily... Depending on the application, 50C +++ are definately needed! Why do they come out with a higher C pack every 6 months if they aren't needed?

Because they want us to consume.

Even if it is not necessary to improve a product, it's getting it done to persuade us to buy a new improved product.

70% of the American economy is based on consumption

I agree, they jack up the prices on these super high rated C packs. A 5000mAh 30-35c pack with 40-45c burst will provide more than enough current.

There are many great Lipo labeled brands that are all fantastic. I'd recommend taking a look at the Murfdogg SuperCharger battery: L-5500-65-2S - SuperCharger 5500mah 65c 2s Lipo Battery Pack.

It's the same reason they come out with a new car every year, a new album every couple months, a new program every year, a new iphone, a new this, that and the other thing.

Take a look at the improvements some time on any of these items, or any item at all for that matter. most times they're minuscule at best.

Ok, if everyone thinks that, come race with us when we have a long triple in stock class and watch me tripple it with my 65C packs and you cant...
Then we will see who buys a 65C pack later that week!

Just sayin!
Been there quite a few times!

Yellow and orange truck that can clear the triple at will... The only one that didn't have a mod motor in it that is! Yeah thats me...
Thats with an old SMC 50C... These new protek 65C's are the shiz!!! AND they are like $90!

I feel sorry for the OP, at post #4 it got off track and turned into a fail. do we really need another C rating debate thread? I can search and find at least 5 of those. Some people are convinced that C rating matters and the rest have their head in the sand. I think you know how I feel about the issue
