To the OP, stick to the big name brands and you'll be fine. I can only attest to Pro-Tek, but I am very happy with their batteries. I have packs over a year old that still perform just fine.

That said, I've been running a 30C Venom in my buggy without issue as well. I don't have experience with their higher C rated packs, but the prices are right.

Everybody and there brother is putting their label on the same lipo these days, Pro-Tek is no different really it's just A-mains "brand". Nothing wrong with them though IMO.

Aren't there really 2 or 3 lipo manufacturers? So yeah everyone is selling the same stuff...

I believe so, as far as the individual cells are concerned. Some are said to "match" their cells though. Not sure if lipo tech is getting to the point that this matters as much anymore though as you don't hear to much about it..

Reedy, thunder power or... I am looking for 50+c ratings.
I am biased because I am in charge of the Reedy brand at AE. But, I can tell you that the Reedy 60C 5500 battery is a very good battery backed by good customer service. If you have a problem with it, need additional charging information, or have any questions about it or any other Reedy products we are only a phone call/email/PM away.
