Default Acer Racing Ceramic Bearing ? Or is there something better 4 1/8th scale

I would like a few opinions before I go out and buy up one of these kits for the RC8BE.

Basically are they worth the price or is it just hype and I should be looking at something else ?

Thx 4 the input

I can't say I'm familiar with the quality of their products, but the quality of their advertisements is very good.

Yep, 2 hot Blonde babes sitting seductively sells. What I would like though is anyones experience with these and just the cheap seat bearings. Does one actually last longer then the other ? $100. for a set compared to ? for the regular bearings.

I would like to know how the Acer ceramic bearings compare to Boca ceramic bearings?

Acer does not seem to give very specific info about their bearings.

Ceramic bearings are a waste of money. Use the revolution bearings from Avid for $1 a bearing. When the bearing wears out or becomes crunchy, toss it and replace with a fresh new bearing. By the way, the Avids last a long time. Ceramic will offer very little except in electric motors or nitro engines since they encounter very high RPMs.

Thank you for the info here. I ordered three sets of the Avids with shipping for less then 1 set of the Acers.

+1, I have used Acers for a while now and had GREAT luck, and at $1 apiece! Can't go wrong!
