Default Novak Kinetic Problem!!!

Hey guys and gals,

I have a novak kinetic that I have run for 3 or 4 batterys, and now when I turn it on, sometimes it continues to work fine, but most of the time it just goes into the calibration light sequence, then into programming mode. Does anyone out there know what the problem may be and how i can fix it?

Thanks
Justin

Contact Charlie Swangka at Novak, he will get you situated. Sounds like your button is stuck down or your switch has a short. Easily fixed.

This link has a lot of info on the Kinetic, but your problem is a little different than anything I've read about.

Now that I get home from work, the esc seems to be working fine. Im going to keep my fingers crossed for racing tomarrow, and bring along a back up system. Wish me luck!

PS How sensitive is the esc to being set at neutral throttle trim? If it is, I think this could be the issue.

Charlie is at the Reedy Race, but he generally takes the time to respond to emails

Thanks novak, I will send him an email to see if a software update will help out, but to be honest I think its the switch. I have the waranty form filled out, but I will hold off sending it in until i hear from him.

Thanks!
