Here at Trackside, we are gearing the B-4.1 at 35-37 pinion with the kimbrough 69t spur.
Not sure what the TLR guys are doing right now, but I'm sure the final is about the same.

i run on a kinda small technical track and run 72-28 on a b4 and rb5.it has plenty of bottom and descent mid range.not sure though about straight away power because the longest we have is about 35 ft.

Frank,
I run between a 35~37 pinion to a 72 spur on the 22.
I run 29~31 pinion to a 78 spur on my boys T4.
I run 35~37 pinion to 72 spur on my boys B4.
My OG RC10CE was running 34~36 to a 75 spur.
Those were for Hot Rod, OCRC & Palm Desert. I changed pinions for infield punch, didnt really worry about top end as much (but top end was really good across the board).

Frank,
We're running 31 or 32 pinion with 76 spur on the 22's here. It's on a tight, technical indoor track that ranges in traction from sticky to slick, depending on how long the layout has been down.
