Default Question for Castle Sidewinder sct owners

Just got my Castle Sidewinder sct 3800 combo, and when I went to mount the motor I noticed there were no threads in the motor endbell.
Am I expected to do the threads myself or are they meant to be pre-threaded?
The holes are there but that's all. I'm baffled.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Call castle tech support tomorrow. they are central time.
they will send you a new motor and a prepaid return lable to ship the one you have back. Some slipped out of the production line untapped.

could it be that the screws you're using are too small? are you using the screws that came with the motor or ones you were previously using on the kit?

Thanks for the replies Guys.
Unfortunately i've had a go at trying to force tap them by screwing in the supplied bolts. This has caused one of the mounting holes to strip. Do you think Castle will still send out a new motor?
I'm in the UK by the way.

i dont see why not. doesn't change the fact the screw holes weren't threaded.
