I'd have to agree with you on this one. I've seen nothing but good, great, and excellent performances by these products! They'll be up there with the rest of the products easily. They're at a great price for the performance that comes to the table!

i never understand why people suggest an older model from a company over the new model because someone is a new racer... Fact is a XXXCR is just as complex as a 22 is. And infact someone starting out would be foolish to buy the old car when everyone at the track is running the new car.

I have seen this suggestion with touring car as well. suggesting the latest model is too much for a beginer.

The traxxas buggy is a toy car period. We have told a few guys locally that desided to try it anyway.... after wasting money they quickly picked up a used AE/Losi and enjoyed having a chance racing.

The DBX is not 1/10th.. its 1/9th.. and closer in size to an 8th scale.. I think the OP is looking for a 2wd buggy

just my 2 cents go with a AE b4.1 or a Losi 22 u really cant go wrong with either one, the only problem is if u buy the kit make sure u have the endurance to finish it, i had a friend who bought a rb5 (which is also a very good buggy) and finally finished it after it sitting on his work bench for over a couple of months. but if ur serious about racing go with a kit they r usually better of for racing than just the average rtr, and have more option parts that allow u to customize it to ur secifications or ur racing style.

I'd say go with the B4 its been around for a while so there are a ton of people who can help you with it and you can find plenty of used ones in good condition Unless you want to buy it new of course... Then you can just get the kit
