Does anyone know where I could find a Drive chain, Or drive belt conversion for a OG kyosho Javelin?? Will other optima drives work?

Wow..... Memmmmmoooorrrriiiieeeesssss......

I am in the process of rebuilding my TO. I am only missing a few pieces and ebay seems to have plenty of parts available. Anyone here have any parts (namely a counter gear shaft) that they are looking to sell?

Once I get it back to running, I'll postsome pics. I used to race this thing back in the day and it was fast!

I had a Turbo Optima with Belt drive, front one way and Hot Trick conversion and sold it about 5 years ago. I still dont know why I did because I loved that car, first I bought with my own money back when it was new. I have a Kyosho Slingshot waiting on a body right now and a Tamiya Fast Attack that was my first car back around '85 or '86 and I still run it about once a year. I wlove the Vintage reissues Tamiya is doing. I have a Brat that is waiting to be built right now. I wanted that one when it came out just because it was so cool.

Yeah, I'll never sell my Turbo Optima. As soon as it's running again, I'll run it around the house and whatnot, but that's about it.

I am trying to sell my Vanning right now to get more parts and spare parts for the TO!!

I love my little Icarus too! That's a great little car for jsut beating around. Very durable!!

I've got a Kyosho Shadow from the 80's, it's a turd, but it was fun when it worked. Still in excellent shape too, it would just need a body.
