Monster Pirate Poll

Does anyone currently have or is planning on getting a Monster Pirate? Just a quick response is fine, there is some new stuff coming available for it and I am trying to see if there is much demand. Thanks.

I am surprised I didn't get a better response from these. Regardless we decided to move forward with our own Monster Pirate and make it a killer project vehicle. We are just getting started but come by and check it out at:

Please keep me informed of how this project is coming along.
I really would like to make my pirate the best monster truck around!! Also please tell me more about the rims that can be used. I find the truck will not turn well with the big tires it comes with, but I don't want to put the t-maxx conversion on it and run with the small axles.

The new aluminum wheels from Cheek Racing Components bolt directly on to the Monster Pirate and use T-Maxx tires. There is no modification needed. If you are having trouble turning large wheels, then I would upgrade to a high torque servo and you will be all set. Look for the wheels to be available through Ultimate Hobbies very soon.
