Slash 4x4 racers inside please
So far I have completed 5 races with my slash. I have experimented with various losi springs, sway bar settings and diff oil. I am running bow fighters. Tho I am pleased with the speed running 14t pinion stock spur I am fighting the turns. Turning under power is trying my patients. Seems to push in the turns, can anyone shed some light my way. Diff oil F15k, C50K and rear 5k.

Front diff oils to stiff, off power it causes the diffs to work like lockers and you push. Lighten up the front to 7k, then give it a try.

Wait, what's the problem?? I cannot read the post due to your avatar's strong pull on my eyes...

When I had mine a ran 10f 10c and 5-10r depending on the surface. Lightening up the center diff helped with steering for me.

I used the slayden setup and it made a different. I think upgrading the steering servo made the most noticable gain.

I did do the Slayden set-up. That with the diff oil change I knocked a 1/2 sec off lap time and got a additional lap. Failed to mention due to the fact of prolly getting shot. But at this time I am running stock servo and radio. But radio is next on the list of upgrades. Prolly getting a M11 or 11x

I am on a tight red clay and was pushing all the time. Not a real racer but I saw huge improvements with really light diff oil...front and center of only 3k. Also swapped my rear carriers (platinum slash) to drop to only 1 degree toe in for the rear. Front has toe out...maybe 1-2 degrees.
So light diff oil, less toe in rear, more toe out front, then work on weight transfer to front. You have to be somewhat careful as the truck starts moving to less less stable and can whip the rear around if you cut throttle too fast while in a hard turn.
Also, it is just normal to push under power, you are putting weight over the rears and away from the front....this is true with any vehicle.

I solved my on power pushing with the Slash 4x4 by replacing the stock servo saver, it's way to weak if you are running a powerful motor and no way to adjust it. I bought the STRC steering setup. Since it has an adjustable servo saver, I crank it all the way tight and I have all the steering I want. I did find it backed out on me a couple times and it started pushing again but then I tightened it really hard and it has stayed that way since.
If you do go this route, be advised, you should upgrade to a more powerful metal gear servo to handle the extra load a strong servo saver will put on it.

+1 on the STRC steering bell crank assembly. But deffinately get a new metal gear servo. Best $30 ever spent when I had my slash.
