I am finishing up the build on my Slash 4x4 and will be using the Hobbywing EZrun 60A speedo and 2s 40c cells. I have a choice of the two tacon 540 size motors here, a 3200KV and a 3930KV and wanted to know which would be the best for bashing only, no racing. I was leaning more towards the 3200KV for the low end oomph and keeping the 3930KV for the slash 2wd. Once the build is complete it will be running 2.2 RPM revolver rims and 2.2 Proline Hammer rock crawler tires. They are not much bigger than stock but are heavier and a little taller. Any thoughts? I have not used the Tacon motors but I have used many other motors in the 4x4 Slash.I would think the 3200kv would give much better gearing options with those bigger tires.
