Today on the track my Esc cut out on me. after an hour of messing with wires. i came to the conclusion that it's coming from my wires that go from my Battery to my esc. as long as i keep pressure on the wires everything powers up. Once i let go of the esc it loses power and the truck just takes off and i have no control of it from my receiver which causes my truck to run into the wall. which at that time I lose power to everything. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix it?

It sounds like a receiver problem. If the truck "takes off" then you are getting ample power from the battery to the ESC but you are losing radio control. This could be a receiver connection problem. I'd try another receiver and if that does not work send the ESC in for repair.
