Just did some updates to mine. Turnbuckles, sway bars, and a HK 100a 4000kv sensor brushless.

One of the racers at my local track has/had one of these. After 3 races, his diffs were cooked (as he put it) He wasn't there tonight, so I don't know if he still has it, or what exactly happened. Just something I wanted to share. Honestly I'm thinking maybe he didn't check the diff fluid levels, but I really won't know till I see him next.

What was he doing? I didn't even touch the diffs and ran it with a VXL motor with 3S lipo. The drivetrain didn't let me down at all.

Makes me wonder what he was doing also? This truck has metal gear diffs. The only way I could see them getting toasted would be ball diffs that were not adjusted right and slipping

I plan on taking mine to the track Monday

I don't know what he was talking about to be honest. Must've been talking out his butt or something, or maybe it was just a loose set screw somewhere in the drivetrain. He had it at the track the other day ripping around. So again, IDK what happened the other time when he said it was toast. They look real good on the track, should make good competition for the TT's.

Well went to the track tonight. Raced against all the stadium trucks. Motor got hot after going threw a whole 3800 pack. My truck was way to fast for this set up. After flying around the air all night all I did was bend a front body mount.

Too fast? May I know what pinion/spur gearing you were running? Thanks.

Would you mind sharing which turnbuckles and ends you used?
