just a feeler thread. im not looking to buy at the moments. in the future. money is not a problem so im not cocerned about that. i the past i have had an e revo and a slash 2wd. loved them both. e revo was a much better bashing truck. it sounds like a lot of people say savage so maybe i will check into that when i decide to buy. i really like truggys and monster trucks the most

can't go wrong with the FLUX
they are awesome and by far the best and most fun basher around
I have been running rc for over 20 years and none of my other trucks and cars have seen as much use as the savage flux
there are many options out there but there are only a few that you will not bring home broken now and then
just read up on the 1 or 2 that you want and make sure you have parts support for it
good luck with your decision

best basher
Get an Associated SC8 E . Comes RTR with Mamba 2200 system. Full roll cage, this thing is indestructible and some tracks have racing for this class.
E Revo brushless is good also, but can be broken.

Yeah man, I'll say.
Only thing that lived up to my pure bashing RC style is the RC8Be I had. My Slash 4x4 could not hang.
1/8 scale stuff. I bashed a VE8 to broke a rear hub the first day. RC8Be was bashed purely and ruthlessly at full throttle for about 8 months until I sold it for the VE8 because I loved the way it handled out of the box built.
Anyways, the 1/8 stuff is really built tough.

my rc8be has been flawless, i have put about 3-4 hours into it all bashing on something thats pretty much a mini motox track and lol all i wrecked was the body not a single part on the car has been replaced and im talking 20-25mtr jumps that were not landed well, yeah i thrash it all cos i have 2 spare cars for parts and i WANT to break something but it wont

I own a Slash and SC10 And a Losi Desert Truck all have held up well except the slash. Ive broken the F/R bumpers R/ shock tower steering knuckles and all sorts of mother stuff. personally the sc10 for me is the better basher. so definitely go with associated or losi they have been launched like 15 feet in the air and hold out great.

I hit a parking block wide open with my wifes slash just to see if it would break and it ramped it about 10 feet into the air and crash landed no problems
they are all pretty much durable anymore just depends on what you are going to do with it
race and bash sc-10 and some rpm parts
bash and think you might race blitz or losi they are both good I have them all so i speak from experience
outa the box they are all pretty good

I would go for an emaxx..nitro vehicles are too much of a hassle to keep running. Electrics will provide more fun with less work. Also the emaxx is pretty durable, I would recommend some stiffer springs than the stock ones to handle huge jumps. Good power stock if you have good quality 7 cell batteries. parts are easily available at most hobby shops or online. Plenty of ground clearance for all types of terrain. Get the waterproof one and you can drive anywhere, sand tires work awesome in the snow if you live in a cold climate.

Gotta love the current state of rc vehicles. They are so many great cars out there now. Add lipos and brushless to everything and there really has never been a better time to have rc's.
