Default Shock Covers

Hey everyone
Just wondering what you all think about shock covers or shock socks. Because ive been wondering if they do or would really help keep the bad stuff out and prolong the life of your shock o-rings and the life of the oil. Ive found some in the link below that look ok and for a cheap price. What do you think?

Thanks

These are what I run on my b4, t4, and sc10. They are the best!

ok i think there was a little miss communication on my part. This is for protection on the outside of the shock, was just wondering because on my shocks they already have a shock boot, but i was wondering if the shock sock that covers it works good with the boot aswell.

I just bought those socks myself, should be here sometime next week.

It wouldnt hurt to run them or both, atleast I cant see.

Might be a bit pointless in running both though, way I see it, socks should pretty much stop anything and everything from getting at the shafts/seals.

yeh but still, the thing is you should run both incase the boot rips, or the sock rips, either way i guess it would be worth running both for extra protector?

Your shock shafts will be covered, they will accumulate much, much less grit on them, and therefore, your o-rings will last much much longer.

you have to modify the back arm slighty and the back hubs slightly. and then pack grease in the cvd or dont use the boot and then on the boot and some heat strink and put it on the part that would expand the big end of the boot and regrease every 2-3 race meets.
