I am sure. Just saying, hey look the current world champion is 9th with the conversiod is a real selling point, lol. There still more rounds to go, hopefully he will get used to the car and get on the lead lap. Because for these guys 1 lap off is miles and miles away.

I am still curious about them running the centro kits. I wonder if they plan to distro them in the US. Not that I would need, but some people would try it.

They have been available for a few years now with no mention of them in the US...why now?

While I think it's a cool looking car... Xfactory does the MM thing way better. The X cars are the only MM car I've ever seen have tons of grip and steering even on loose outdoor tracks.

well that was my question. I wonder if the CC got them thinking about it as an option for their drivers. I was told that Ryan M was thinking about it after practice at the CC, but opted for the 4.2. But you never know how much of that is sponsor pressure. They had just released the 4.2 and would want their drivers to run it. or maybe he just didnt have the time to dial it in and was more comfortable with the b4.2. Either way he took 2nd with the rear motored b4. Could he have done better with a mid motor conversion? I dont know.

we have some Xcars here. And I have never driven one, but lol. They way they sound when they land is awful. Sounds like they weight 100 lbs. And i have seen several of them DNF. More so than normal b4's . and i dont mean front arms. Normally motors backing off, over heating and other non normal b4 type issues. The new slimmer cubed car might be interesting. but after buying a b4 and then buying the X kit.... I could have bought a kyosho, lol. I kinda wish X would release the full kit.

I think it did. You would hope that they have at least tried MM out at some point throughout the development of the B4.1/B4.2. If they did not, that's just a crying shame.

I suppose they could combine forces with xfactory since xfactory uses Ae suspension parts. Kind of like how Yokomo drivers used to race AE rides for 2wd and AE drivers ran yokomo for 4wd.

I'm also surprised that neither Amain, Stormer or Speedtech etc., have tried to bring the Centro kits in.

I have no idea what the relationship between X and AE is, but my impression is that they are competitors here in the US at least. Where as the Centrino group in Europe is an AE distributor. So kinda like a scratching each others back thing.

Good point. I just HOPE associated at least tested MM configurations (whether is was Centro's, Xfactory or whoever else makes one).

I agree they should test it. But i hope they never build an all in one buggy. If anything. I would prefer for them to distro a kit they approve of or build their own conversion. I just dont think a hybrid car is a good idea. Think "el camino" its a crappy truck and a crappy car, lol.

LOL, I think I'm on the same page as you. Two separate cars makes more sense to me, but I can see how attractive having a car that can do both with minimum parts transfer can be.

Amazing how one race and one facebook post can make the interest in MM spread like a Wild cat on fire!

I heard a "Rumor" that the worlds at Amain "might" be super high bite like Cactus. If that were true, AE would want to make adjustments to win. Think the "stealth" car, lol. They made a special proto for the worlds in Aussi land. Just to win, lol.

considering the average lap of the current 1st round tq is over 16 seconds, i would not call that a lap off pace.

yeah, I saw the numbers. I just wanted it to sound worse for more drama, lol. I like to round. So I rounded to 1 lap, lol. But you are correct, he was never "lapped"
