Default hardening scte diff pins

has anyone thought of or have any opinion on case hardening the stock soft diff pins using heat and oil to harden them.I might try! when I first got my blitz the diff drive cups were soft and were grooved and sloppy in just a few days so I looked up how to harden Steel and found a simple heat and oil method on ehow to make a long story short I tried it and there was a noticeable difference in durability don't know if it will work for this kind of Steel . what's your thoughts not sure if it would damage these pins due to the cutout in the center.

Have you looked at the SCTE forum???? Its a great idea, but your not the first to have it. There are a few different people producing them already.
