Somehow I don't see ROAR jumping through hoops to 'approve' this motor.... BUT, the concept is interesting as you say.....

I have a few Leopard motors and they are very good performers.

ROAR motors are 2 pole. Making a spec motor that isn't even close to the specifications = FAIL

Calling a sensorless motor "17.5T" is misleading.

HAHA...it's not even sensorless. Look at the item title and description. It's actually "Seneorless". Must be the new Chinese motor spec.

Not sure what the problem is?
It probably has 17.5 turns, and I really dont think Leopard gives a hoot about ROAR. They do have "spec" type sensored motors available if thats what you want, but selling motors of various turns just sounds like good business to me. Hobbywing has had several "XX.5T", sensorless, non-roar legal motors around for a long time with great success.

If you want to jump double or go faster, why not just race in a faster class?

4-pole motors are not going to happen for spec racing, but I think they have their place in mod. I would love to have a motor like Castle's 1406 series that has solder tabs.
