yeah so what do you guys think i should do? keep my hyper 7e racer or upgrade to a proper racing buggy? like what differences would there be from my hyper 7e racer to the ve8 with a HHH chassis?? thanks

HONESTLY scrap the 7, get the ve8 you will notice every aspect in difference.

Will my leopard 2000kv 4074 motor fit with the HHH chassis??

It is 3mm longer with the shaft than a Tekin T8. You should be good.

That's good! How about my trackstar 150amp esc will that fit In behind the steering servo?

It's around .5 inches wider than a Tekin RX8. All the other dimensions are practically the same... should be good as well.

but in the end quality doesnt win races. A smart driver that picks the right setup (tires etc etc) and is consistent without crashing wins races.

well there is a guy at my local track who runs an associated rc8 converted to brushless. will the ve8 be better than that??

Define "better". They are both very durable. The Ve8 is more stable and forgiving. The RC8 has better high/low speed cornering, but can be twitchy at times. It will punish you for mistakes. It really depends on your driving style and type of track you will be racing on. An aggressive driver will probably favor the RC8.

well see now that ur talking about serious racing it starts to make u setup your car, run the correct tyres and then theres the main part, the driver has to be able to drive the car.

yeah true i have my hyper 7 in the for sale section i want it sold right now so i have some money for the HB ve8!

Depends on your driving skill in racing...but I think you will benefit with a new buggy. The Hyper 7 is a 10 year old platform and was decent back in the day.

Any of the current crop of big name buggies are all very close performance wise. Can't really go wrong with whats out there.
