The test on the graph was only a 30 amp load, take it up to double or triple what do you think the difference will do? I am not saying you can't win with turnigy as there are several factors besides how fast it can accelerate or top end speed. One wreck by the faster car can more than wipe out any advantage a better battery may have then again with everything else being equal and being able to use the power that car at least has the ability to catch up if it falls behind.

i think it also depends on what the lipo is for... 8th scale is so over powered that huge C rating is not needed.. but if you are racing 4wd SC and you can only run 2S, then i would look for high C


the only reason i would go with high C rating in my 8th stuff would be to run a low MAH lipo to save weight... then i would need the C rating to feed the right amount of amps.. but this would be for short 6-8min races.
