Depending on the specific comparison, they may be 100% the performance of a more expensive pack, or 95-97% in some aspects. In this particular rest, the turnigy was best in weight, and measured capacity as compared to rated capacity. In any case, getting 4 turnigys for the price of 1 of the other packs is a huge benefit to those on a budget.

i think it also depends on what the lipo is for... 8th scale is so over powered that huge C rating is not needed.. but if you are racing 4wd SC and you can only run 2S, then i would look for high C
the only reason i would go with high C rating in my 8th stuff would be to run a low MAH lipo to save weight... then i would need the C rating to feed the right amount of amps.. but this would be for short 6-8min races.
