You have not gone head to head w/ the new losi 4x4 sct.. even though 10th, I doubt it would hold the line
I never said you couldn't get fast with it.. but the same driver w/ a properly setup truggy vs a properly setup sc8 is going to lay down several laps more on most 1/8 scale tracks. Sorry it's the truth. Funny thing I ran my sc10 last summer against a sc8e and guess who one? So you are comparing your driving against someone who is obviously slower driving a buggy.. well I was a better driver w/ my sc10 against this individual and took it with a 2wd SC truck with only a 13.5 motor 2s lipo and my c'heat' turned up 3/4 of the way.

Oh and by the way I have Went door to door with all the current 4x4's ofna's, jammin, slash 4x4 and it will destroy them. Truggys are just to big for most tracks in WA. A properly setup sc8e can be very competitive, don't listen to the haters. The sc8e or sc8 is a great truck for any collection! Fricken blast.

Nah, I'm not talking about slower drivers, I'm talking about one of my best friends I know is a great driver with a carbon rc8t with maximum upgrades, neu 2250, 6s, the right tires ect... You were obviously playing with a less experience driver. I'm sorry but it's the truth. There are a bunch of know it all's on here, it's getting to the point where you can't say anything without some one calling B.S., it's getting old quick. I have a fully modded FTSC10 and it couldn't touch my sc8e. We both know one big quad or triple and bye bye sc10. I'm sorry. And on a smaller track the truggys are just way to big. So why comment. You had one good day against one person so that makes it true? Hmmm? It was probably his first run with stock tires. I know what I know and I'm not going to argue with you.
#1 I stated there is no sc8e keeping up with a truggy on most 1/8 tracks
#2 I stated just that it has to do with the DRIVERS, I out ran the kid w/ the sc8e because I simply was a better driver on that day (sc10). PS that track didn't have huge jumps to slow me down, the triple was pretty fast as a double single at this track.
#3 I was telling the other person if he is keeping up with a buggy on a 1/8 track it was for the same reason, he was a better driver.
I'm not saying the sc8e isn't fun, I'm not saying anything other than calling these comments on how fast it is compared to a buggy or truggy. If you give the same driver an sc8e then a buggy, then a truggy the sc8e WILL BE the slowest of the bunch for lap times. In a field full of drivers, throw in a sc8e with a mix of truggies or buggies and I highly doubt it will be the last one over the line, unless the driver of the sc8e is the worst of the bunch.
Maybe before you call others 'know it all's' on here, make sure you read through posts and comments before you post well. It is strange that reflection in the mirror.
