Hey everyone just me again and wondering about shock rebound. I have recently while building my new shocks, have found a guide about them and Ty Tessman talks about shock rebound and have 50% or 25% and so fourth. With this being said do i warry about this or do i just rebuild all my 4 shocks to have 100% rebound?

I like running a little more rebound to get that tire to set back on the ground as quick as it can.

Its pretty cool to see the differences. The video has a pretty good basic explanation.

Biggest thing is to make sure is that your rebound is set similar from side to side. If it is off drastically you will get some funky handling.

The percentage refers to how far the shock travels back out w/o a spring on. 100% rebound means the shock is fully pressurized (full of oil) and after compression rebounds all the way. 50% rebounds half with less oil in it and so on. 25-50% is normal and +2 above equal is always best left to right. Don't worry about it, just drive and watch your cars' reactions to the track. Easier to tune rebound with different spings and oil. I build shocks once maybe twice all season and just swap springs for different ride height and rebound. Ty just has his car setup for his driving style, not yours.
