Default Proline Slash susp kit and wheels

Anybody have the proline suspension kit for the Slash? I want to widen my Rustler front and was thinking, since I'm buying some of the parts, why not get the whole kit.

How are the rims it comes with? I have a car they might go with so maybe I can use them. Are they any good or do most people just put them to the side? Are there better Slash rims?

The rims are designed for the 2.2/3.0 short course truck tires. Unless you are going to run that type of SCT tire, the rims will not be useful.

I've got a CRT .5 coming that will be converted to BL. I don't care for the truggy wheels and was going to put 2.2 on it. I figured if I got the Proline kit for my Rustler I could use the wheels and get some SCT tires.

Just wanted to know if they were any good.

They are as good as any of the other Proline SCT wheels. The only difference is the offset.

Protrac kit with the Protrac wheels will NOT widen your Rustler...the Protrac wheels were made to keep the track width identical to stock. If you want wider, you'll have to use stock Rustler/Slash wheels.

But the kit arms will widen my Rustler, right? I don't plan on using the wheels for the Rustler. I plan on running Rustler front rims all around. The Protrac wheels will be used on another car.

You could also try the "Jang Wide Mod" which might be more economical:
