Default Slash MMM and sct combo?

I'm thinking of running a 4plole castle sct motor with a MMM in my slash 4x4, and I got a couple questions.

1. Will the motor stay cool
2. What would be a good gearing starting point
3. Would a 2650 1/8 motor be a better choice?
4. Any other info I might wanna know?

I am running the Neu-Castle 1410 1y 3800 kv motor in my Slash 4x4. With 14/54 gearing it comes off the track (after 5 min run) at 120 degrees. I do not have the fan installed on the motor.

1. Yes will stay VERY cool
2. Depends on Track
3. Depends on Track again
4. MMM with my tekin 550 motor runs very cool even in hot weather.

Track is small, 50 foot straight with mostly 180* turns. So lots to throttle and brakes

I run on a track that is 40x40 with all 90 & 180s. I think you will be just fine. Especially if you run the supplied motor fan. Like I said previously I don't run the fan and I am under 130.

The castle 4 pole is a amazing motor, the esc is soso. I'm using the MMP on it in my hyper 10 on reedy 35c 5000's and It rails, temps are great, my esc gets about 130, motor 110 after a entire pack on indoor clay. The motor is a smokin deal. The torque it puts out is very impressive but not a real top speed motor IMO because of the current this thing pulls unless your only running 5min at a time. But on small tracks the 3800 on 2s pulls really really hard. For the price it's hard to beet.

I'm only dinning the motor from the sct system, I'm planning on controlling it with a mamba monster. Not the sidewinder.... Sorry if I wasnt clear.
