when using shoo goo do you have to worry about the vapors like you do with CA and circuit boards?

Wow, let's see, body maintenance, gluing the clear piece (all the 'glass' for an interior) into AtomiK body shells, glue cells together for building any kind of battery pack - just did an 8 AA Sanyo Tx pack for my 7C controller, and my Oakley sandals are more shoe goo that anything else (8yrs old)!

I usually reach for shoe goo 1st for repair work around the house and see if it'll take care of the repair, and it usually does.

Should I use it in conjunction with some drywall joint tape to reinforce my new body? Say, around the mount holes, the front and rear bumpers?

I have it in our tool box. It takes too long to repair at the track since it's slow to dry. It worked great repairing my rear view mirror in my car. It fell off with a layer of glass on it. It has been on for almost a year now.

Yeah, just for example on the capacitor for the esc, there relly wasn't enough surface area for the dual lock to adhere to properly, so I shoe gooed the piece of dual lock to the cap. No troubles, and I can remove everhting for cleaning.

i use it with fiber glass drywall tape to re-enforce weak spots on my bodys even before i start to use the body's now a days. very strong. or use it to repair cracks n such or around mounting holes with a thin layer then apply drywall tape and smoothen it all out.
great stuff!!
