Stupid fast
I was Lookin to make my CRT.5 stupid fast and made a stupid choice. I bought a castle 6900 system thinking this would do it. Well it didn't. Now I'm wondering what would be better to make it 65 mph+ fast.
Thinking of getting the MMM 2650 designed for 1/8 buggies. Would this combo be what I'm looking for or what wil I need?

I recommend no more than 4S for racing with this motor, but if you want to go stupid fast there ya go.

The vxl motor has a shorter magnet and windings than a S can feigao... So technically it is an XS motor... Similar power output though.

I have a Slash 4x4 with a MMM 2650 on 4s and it's ridiculously fast. My friend had the same but had the 2200 and I walked him like he was stuck in mud. For shits and giggles I threw a 6s in there and it was STUPID FAST! I believe that's what you're looking for lol Oh I also had it geared 25T pinion and a 50T spur, yeah you can imagine how ridiculous it was. Many people will tell you not to run a 6s on the 2650. It can handle it however not for sustained periods. If you call, even Castle will tell you it can handle it for short bursts like speed runs. But doing them over and over and running a whole battery pack through like that might kill it. But for short High Speed runs, it can handle it no problem, but your tires wont!
