RC Bros also has conversion kit. I would probably go stock, but another option.

I was confused when I ordered this. I thought it came with engine. I guess I should have read the webpage a little better. It doesn't, does it?

I talked 2 of my friends into getting one. One of them was going to run nitro. Oh well, I guess I can take it off his hands for cheap.

So someone buys one of these for like $75 or so, installs an extended chassis and electric motor mount, battery box, some body mounts, and boom, they have a 4x4 sc?

hm.

I figure I can make mine electric for about $225. That includes the price of the car and shipping.

Can you build it that cheap?

Can you get the roller for $75?

Edit to my total. Add $18 for shipping. I blame my calculator.

Even with the included extended chassis, it falls rather short to be close to the SCT. Even compared to a 1/10 4wd buggy it's still short by about 1.5".

I think running it as it is (converted to E) is still an exceptional value. The biggest drawback is that there is no class. I'm going to let my daughter run in it the novice/sportsman class as it's an open vehicle class

I believe its 46 for the metal spur, someone correct me if i am wrong. most people gear from about 13-16 depending on motor, and track, etc.

you're right. stock spur is 46t & clutch bell is 13t, I run 17t pinion on 10.5 & 19t on 13.5 motor with stock 46t spur.
