No laughing here i like the high rollers, my buddy is thinking of getting one, how do you like yours?
Yeah, I researched the motors a lot before I found out the 380 and 540 sized ones.

I like the High Roller a lot, now that I've rebuilt the tranny twice. It's bulletproof now. I destroyed it in 5 minutes with the BL. You really need the upgraded gears. I also got the cvds.

I think it looks much nicer than the Stampede, plus I paid a lot less for it. Nicer body, nicer shocks, nicer wheels/tires.

Better than this you think?

Also, question on the HW 60A. If running on 3s, it says to use higher voltage fan. Where would I find a compatible fan for this?

Yeah I saw this in another thread.

How does it compare to the OFN40957? I heard that mount makes it easier to set the mesh.

So here's the $64,000 question:

Will I be able to get any money for my engine?

I cant say because i havent used that one, but I have the tacon already and it rips in my hyper 10sc and its a heavier truck then the crt .5 I'm getting a heatsink/fan too just to be extra safe, they are only 4.50

http://www.hobbypartz.com/fanfor1rccar.html

for the fan, move the wires from the battery lines and hook them to the black and red wires going to the Rx and you wont have any issues, the problem was with a 3 cell battery the fan was getting too much voltage 11.1 vs 7.4 and the fan was frying.

That's the same one I got. Same price as well.

Someone in another thread posted that they paid $20 for battery box and mount. I'm trying to find a deal like that.

I had to bid on the batterybox/motor mount, which started at $0.99. The battery box I won for $2.25 and the motor mount went for $15. Not too bad. So far I'm right at $110 into the truck as a roller.

If UPS leaves it at my door tonight, i'll be trying on a set of 4wd buggy wheels and seeing if a 1/10 4wd buggy body will fit. If it does, i'm going to have to lay the battery down and shift over the center diff.

I have the normal one on my hyper 10sc and it works fine for me. I saw that one also and it looks a bit nicer however i didn't want to spend the extra $13
