rc10gt chassis bending

rc10gt chassis bending
when i bought my rc10gt the chassis was bent in the middle. the whole chassis just kinda curled a little bit, id say the front came up a total of about 2".
so, just last week i finshed fitting the car on to a new chassis, and today i installed a stock tuned pipe to replace the stinger 360. during the test run i hit a small bump and one of the zip ties holding the batteries on broke, and one of the batteries bounced out, sending the car running wild at full speed into a curb. as a whole the car survived pretty well, with the exception of the NEW chassis being bend in the exact manor as the first
is there an aftermarket chassis that wont curl, and if not, is there a way to keep the chassis from bending like that?
thanks

I save the money and make my own chassis' saves time and money, its not too hard to do. Just need a jigsaw a marker, a drill and some aluminium or Carbon Fiber

woah i have a FULL workshop....
anyone know what the heat tolerances are on carbon fiber?
where do you get bulk aluminum?

Is there a wheelie bar for stadium trucks;do i need a failsafe? i race my truck on the street and my battery box screws on
#7
ummm kinda random...
but ive never seen a stadium truck that NEEDED a wheelie bar. if your truck does wheelies when you dont want it to, go easier on the throttle

go to any shop that works with sheet metal, they will sell you their scraps for a reasonable price, I usually pay $20 and end up with about 60 squair feet.
Evan, don't need a wheelie bar, a fail safe is a nice feature, and who gives a chit if your batt box screws on ???
also, you should had a throttle return spring.

Make sure you get 6061 or 7075(?) aluminum, these are the grades of aluminum normally used for rc purposes.
