just wonering if an 8 or 7 cell hump will fit it the battery tray

I'm not sure exactly as I don't own one, but I do know a Nimh hump pack is almost the same size as a 3S lipo which does fit. You could try it but I'm not 100% sure.

can you suggest a good brand that makes 8 cell flatpacks? i know the regular flux savage doesent fit them but wasnt sure about the HP

i have an 8 cell hump for my slash vxl so i wouldnt have to take a shot in the dark atleast

You should definitely considering going Lipo for the best possible experience though.

yeah idk i whip asociated sc10s with lipos with my dtx 5000 7 cell from duratrax

If you're talking about a pack where one cell is on the top of the two rows of cells, I doubt that's going to fit the Flux batt boxes.

ive got 2 dtx hump 5000 mah and they work great. power wise. not saying they will work, just agreeing with you on how good they are.
