Just ordered Lucas oils RTR brushless kit from tower hobbies! So excited! But have to wait till Feb 8th through 10th. Good move based on leaving out my other choices???

You'll like it.

The SC10 is definitely capable of competing with these. The driver is ultimate deciding factor after all.

Have fun. The only bad thing is having to wait!

Good move! Cant go wrong with a 2.4 radio and brushless setup in my opinion. A buddy of mine pick the Rockstar version of that truck.
On pavement it ran circles around my XXX-SCT but on the track it was the opposite. I think the tires on the SC10 arent the greatest and when you add a brushless motor it doesnt help.
But half the fun is setting up your truck for your driving style.

Yea sucks that I have to wait but dam can't wait to try it out. I hope the stock tires can handle my local dirt track, if not that's the first thing I will change

subcultures or megagrids on the rears, you'll be ok with the stock fronts. that's what 90% of guys around here use.

green subcultures are pretty universal, pink megagrids for loose stuff. what is your track like? keep your stock rears handy for non-race activity. then, buy a set on DE racing rear wheel for $8.95 shipped off ebay, and mount your racing tires of choice on them. Done!

those will do it. FYI, that is what comes on the factory team sc10, but without the rulux rims.

I wouldn't worry about fronts, If anything the Sc10 has too much steering and the stock fronts tame it a bit.

Congrats on your purchase. Experience in tuning is a must though with the SC10.

The stock rear tires on an SC10 (not the FT version) are total and complete garbage on anything other than hard packed clay. I thought they were the worse tires I have ever used.
