F-350 Build Question

I didnt realize how complicated this build would be but I think Im managing to stumble thru it.

My question is I just finished step 5 and I wanna make sure Ive got the internal gears correct....I try to rotate them and they go so far and lock. Im not sure if the outer gears will correct this. Maybe its due to the shifting forks Im not sure.......anyone have an idea about this????? HELP!

I believe the shift forks are holding you up. Once you lock the shift mechanism you should be OK.

I know it is a complicated build but take your time and have fun with it.

I put the "clutch" on there, tightened down and backed it off two turns and it works fine. Thanks for the info!
