Wow, thats one sharp looking conversion! Its a damn shame the B44 is so much money even for a used one. I'd jump all over this if I had the spare cash.

if you keep a watch out in the for sale section, you can find good used b44's for pretty cheap

We are using as much B44 parts as we can so suspension geometry would not change
even the b44 shocks can be used

We are experimenting with different configurations and are testing in real races and the upcomming races will show us how good this conversion can be. Weight is a very important consideration being the b44 is light even with it converted to SC. We will have more information by next week. It is a long process and as Jlewis said we want to make this right.

Shag
Have you got that B44 running?

2 trucks are ready for first big race in Porter, TX round 1 of RC pro series in TX
will have pics by friday practice
It has been a long a trying road to get to this but we just want to make the conversion right and raceable and competative
practice last night was great, it handled well and was fast using 6.5 LRP 540 motor
I think we have found the right set up for it and will be sure when we hit a different kind of track
We have tried aluminum, carbon fiber, fiberglass chassis, front motor, center motor and rear motor set up
short top plate, longer, 2 piece top plate. And I think we have found the right set up for this
Our first prototype had 2 front top plates one in the front and one in the back, it ran well but it had too much weight in the front causing the rear to come up and to be too unstable at the rear causing the back to break loose, very unpredictable.
will post pics and race report soon, this should be a good one.
We also have a truck that will be in the Psycho nitro blast in the next 2 weeks and we will get input from him too. He is a sponsored driver and has good racing history.
We started this conversion a few months ago and we wanted a good 4x4 sc. we are racers and would like the best quality in our product hence a few more weeks. we will have all computerized and cnc cut.
Thanks for the interest and the conversion will be ready when we get home and finish our r and d

Oh ya I remember those! They only were popular in southern california if I remember right...xx4 SC...probably would work pretty good now!

we should have chassis material options based on what kind of track and set up you want

We will be racing this conversion this weekend in Round 1 of the RC pro series race in Porter, TX
It will be the first big race that we will race this conversion and will see how it does
We also have a driver who will be racing in Psycho Nitro Blast race in GA March 10-13

Here are some pics of the carbon fiber chassis
what guards are those and will they fit the delrin chassis (now available) version?
