yup too old, Ive been racing for about 25 years and still doing it
these trucks were fast and way ahead of their time that is why it did not become popular

We decided to convert the B44 because we were waiting for an AE sc but was not patient enough to wait and the b44 platform is a solid car and has been winning with the right set up and drivers
With the current 4wd sc having 540 or 550 motors a center diff is not as beneficial as we think. So having a slipper direct drive gear set up would be a better set up for this. I have felt it in the track with the car being more dialed and being quick going into a turn and going out of it, while comparing it with a center diff set up there can be lag unless you put very thick oil that it defeats the purpose of the diff. It is like driving an electric 1/8 compared to a nitro 1/8 with a clutch. it takes time for the clutch to spool up compared to the instant torque an electric makes and this is how I think the b44 feels. immediate forward motion with not alot of traction lost
these are my opinions with my testing so far
thanks

B44 SC conversion will be available soon
After multiple chassis configurations and hours of R and D the chassis conversion is ready
Cad and cnc milling up next and it should be ready
Will have pics soon of the prototypes and the final conversion
Thanks for all the interest it is just a slow process and would like it to be tested well

Looks great! I went to the track and people are certainly complaining about the belt drive 4x4 AE is coming out with. If your conversion is high quality and durable, they will sell like hot cakes. I look forward to them!

Few details
We will be using most parts from the B44 with other parts from sc10
The b44 is a good platform to start with and it works well hence geometry and setup will be as close as possible to the B44
Should have a few more pics tonite
thanks

The car has been surprisingly durable
With our tracktime, we broke one rear turnbuckle holder and one rear diff with hard racing on a 1/8 outdoor track with 10 min mains against currently available 4wd sc

The plan was to convert your race winning, fast, bad a$$ B44 to a SC 4x4 so you can still race at your track if the 4wd class has been cancelled and still be competative if not be dominant with the old reliable B44
This set up feels good for indoor with alot of torque and being nimble but also good enough for the big jumps with bigger tracks

Will post pics tonite before some R and D and track time
We will be getting pre orders if interested
Our website will be up soon but you can PM me if you have any questions
Thanks

I saw your video and it looks very durable, looks like it handles very well, do you have a price for the conversion?

that's a pretty large track. Seems very 1/10th scale freindly.
Im guessing 45 second lap times...maybe less..
