I have thought about this mod many times and it could work and be done but is not worth it at all.
And the reason why is the already available Traktion Drive from TEKNO.com that does exactly what your trying to accomplish or maybe the Slipperential from RCMonster.com
TEKNO's solution is half the price of the Slipperential.

nah these wont work , imma gonna have to go somewhere to do a custom shaft setup , a tube , in the middle of the tube a soldered round plate , 3 holes to mount the revo spur gear , but after that how to connect the drive shafts ... thats the part where im a little lost

thanks for youre help !!

The Traktion drive won't work with a shorter motor like a 1512/1Y?
I do see what your up against.

Does it have to be a 38 spur? What about a 43?

hum what are you suggesting ?

for the time being i think i could live with the 43t spur gear , until i do some tests and if i fail , then its definitely time for custom work but 43t seams like a ideal

38t vs 43t is a loss of 15 mph top speed witch i need but if the 43t is a easy fit , ill try it for sure !

any more info ? thanks !!

read the HHH ve8 chassis thread. he talkes about swaping in an RC8 diff and they make more spur gear ratios for that then any thing else.
